Counting is a sequence. Each iteration you add 1. Everyone learns this first and derives pleasure from its predictability. It’s the first thing we learn. 0! now add 1 and move to the next! 1! now add 1 and move to the next… 2, add one, 3, 4, 5, 6. Counting is a sequence of forgetting the last and focusing on your latest addition of a single unit. This way of thinking about the Count gives you a concept upon which great complexity can grow. Fibonacci’s sequence is the next layer of complexity and it requires you to attend to one more item. zero, one, now add them, 1… now kill the zero! Kill it to Zo! Now it doesn[t exist for you, your sequence has moved on to 1 +1…2. 0,1,1,2,3 each one is the last two added. Count by adding one, fibb by adding the last two, 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34… The operation requires two places to calculate. Very little. It is a popular sequence to discuss. Fibonacci’s politics has et to cloud his reputation as the source of this pattern. The next layer could be requiring you to remember another number in your operation or it could be to change the operation you put on the numbers or reevaluating at a different point. Since Fibonacci’s is the historical pattern we all could remember let’s add a number to our memory and expand on that part of the sequence’s growth. Instead of adding the last two let’s add the last three. So, 0,1,1,2,4! because 4 is 1+1+2. Now the four gets eaten by our voracious sequence! 0,1,1,2,4,7(1+2+4),13(2+4+7),24(13+7+4)… That this thought is the concept of the sequence that can expand throughout many dimensions and areas of mathemtaics makes it a good first step to take in understanding anything. So familiarize yourself! Add the last two erase the third is Fib’s, erase the last 4th and add 3 is (let’s call it) the Trib’s sequence. Trib requuires we remember one more thing, another layer of complexity but it is precisely the growth from Fib that fib is from the Count. Count,

OK! I’m back. Fibby was around enough Arab leaders to get the vital work by Al Quarizimi (sp?) from some Arab intellectual. Discussiing history from a cross sectional social abolitionist perspective is hard because the weight of history is an attention to acconmplishments. Fibby’s sequence was his big accomplishment. So his abolitionistperspective is not well chronicled, but at that time I believe both East and West did have slaves suffering under brutal conditions. I want to judge okl’ Fibby because I judge modern thinkers and I want to be consistent and slavery is a good polqce to judge from. Fibby failed to write and make known his opposition to it. As of now I’ll call his sequence Fibby’s and we’ll put a boiok marker on our judgment of him from humanity’s perspective. Was his sequence of enough value to outweigh hs silence on slavery. I encourage the reader to take up this issue further. All I do know is intersectional evaluation of history is fun and the Fibby sequence is the first layer of complexity to sequences possible after the C0ounting sequence we all learn firstl That makes the gradient of learning Fibby easy enough to be an early thing to present to learners of Mathematic and the next question there is how do you present it to babies ? What do you use to represent numbers when showing babies growth like Fibby’s?
