The Switch’em up game

February 2nd, 2021 by David

The basic AlphaSongs are easy to learn. There’s the skip a letter. acegi kmoqs uwybd fhjln prtvxz. There’s backwards. inwards looks like this: azby cxd wevf ugt hsir jqk plo mn. Randoms are hard to learn, but the first one I put to a song is x gbvt lyk nop sre d jfcazhi wumq.

Once you learn these songs, and a friend learns them with you you can then play swith’em up where you exchange a letter’s placement with another letter or cycle the placement of 3 or more letter through one or two steps. You can see the spaces in the song above organize the letters into groups, so it is easy to detect changes. Winner stumps the other person by singing an AlphaSong with 3 or 2 letters switched that the opponent cannot identify. As the game gets harder you add ore songs and more letter exchanges. This game could be fun.
